Space Bound!
This is my first book published by Navneet Publications in Mumbai in 2007. It is a bio of our former President APJ Abdul Kalam which caters mainly to children. It was launched by former Isro chairman K.Kasturirangan at the World Book Fair in New Delhi few months later.
The book --my second one--describes India's journey to the moon called Chandrayaan-1. Again the book mainly caters to the younger generation and was published by Navneet Publications in Mumbai. It was launched by Isro on October 22,2009 at a bookshop in Bengalaru amidst huge gathering of space scientists and school kids--sure a terrific combination!.
With India's mission to Mars having been cleared by the government, Vigyan Prasar, a government organisation attached to the department of science and technology asked me to do a book about this challenging mission. It mainly deals with the pre launch aspect. It was published in 2013 and was launched by Dr Kalam during the Indian Science Congress at Kolkata in January 2014.
This is my second about India's Mars mission and was published in July 2014 by Partridge which is a part of the Penguin Group.It talks about the post launch aspect of the mission. Since it is a self published book, it has not been officially launched!!! I have been distributing copies to those who are interested.
