Mumbai: Talking about the Rosetta mission I recall that on the morning of November 12, 2014, the Nehru Science Centre at Worli organised a programme for Mumbai school children to brief them about the historic flight and the Philae landing which was to take place later that afternoon.
The person who interacted with the kids that morning was my friend, Saket Singh Kaurav of the centre who is also a space addict.
My purpose of writing this is not to recall the events at the centre that morning, but to thank Saket for another reason--he is an artist too.
For Divali he made a card which had Mangalyaan--India's mission to Mars, Nasa's New Horizon mission to Pluto and the Rosetta mission. Infact last year during the ESA broadcast we were constantly in touch.
I plan to print this beautiful card, laminate it and display it in my space museum---my room.
That is not all. For new year he made a card with the Mangalyaan theme. I have printed and laminated it and displayed.
Thanx Saket.
Send me more such space cards.
